While everything on this page (and many more ideas you and I haven’t even thought of yet) can be done once and never done again, you’ll find many of them so beneficial we’ll want to use them over and over. I could, for example, do a complete round of article marketing for you each month using a different set of keywords, linking to the same, or a different part of your website from different web properties.

These are also the online marketing tactics and activities I use each month for our Online Partner program clients. What you won’t find here are any link building packages. They’re not something I would ever recommend you think of as a “once and done” activity.

Slow and steady link growth is what wins in the long run. I include a small level of manual link building (social bookmarking, blog commenting, directory submissions, etc.) with everything you do see here.  I also build backlinks for clients in their Monthly Hours packages, or as an Online Partner.

Here are some the “self-contained” projects that make up the backbones of all successful online marketing programs:

Article marketing

Offsite articles are a great source of external links. They are also a great source for direct traffic that tends to be highly qualified and interested in your offers (which means an easier job of conversion for you). In a standard article marketing package we would write and place five keyword-driven articles of approximately 500-1,000 words on various article directories (always eZine Articles) and web 2.0 properties (Squidoo, Hub Pages, Weebly and Wet Paint are examples). We will talk about the right keywords, destinations and links for you.
Standard article package cost of $250 can be adjusted by the number of articles or the outlets used.

SEO/site review and recommendations

Website content creation

Sometimes all that’s needed is solid web content for a new or existing site. We apply search engine optimization best practices to every step of the creation process, including proper keyword research and page placements to help each page of your website get indexed and ranked to bring you qualified buyers. A typical website creation project includes an initial interview to get to know you and your business, direction, etc. We will then provide your home, about, (generic) terms of use, and privacy policy and contact pages and contact form. An additional four pages of your choice are included in the base package.
A base website content package costs $400, but could cost more or less dependent on the number and types of pages involved.

Website to blog conversion

Do you have a website that you wish you could update yourself (or one that’s still looks like it was born in the 1990s)? Do you want to be able to offer audio, or video or photo galleries on your site? Do you wish you could collect comments and talk with your readers? If you said yes, it’s time to convert your existing static website into a living, breathing blog. I will preserve all the content and images you currently have while adding the functionality you and I agree you need to meet the business challenges of this decade.
A typical conversion can be done for $500.

Local maps marketing

Is your local business on the Google, Yahoo or Bing map that appears at the top of a search result page for one of your keywords? Did you “claim your listing” or is it open and available for someone else to poach? We can put your business on the top of Google’s search results next week. Getting in to this coveted top position on the search engines is not done the same way as other search marketing. If you haven’t claimed your listing, you’re missing out on some incredible ways to leapfrog right over your competition and really use the power of the engines to promote your business for free. We’ll take care of the details of setting you up with Google, Yahoo and Bing so you can start.

Mobile blog creation

While today’s smart phones are well equipped to surf the web, the experience for a visitor might still be improved. If you want your mobile visitors to become happy customers we need to provide them with a stripped down, speedy and direct version of your site that caters to their needs. Your mobile website will look more like the other apps they are used to using daily, making the decision to do business with you as easy and intuitive as they are as well.
A Mobile blog creation costs $450 and includes the cost of your mobile domain name. However, the actual cost and work involved can vary greatly so this cost should be viewed as a ballpark estimate only.

Lead generation and follow-up system set up

You need to be able to keep in touch with prospective customers while they work through their research and buying stages. We can help you set up the systems that will capture potential customer information and deliver your messages to them automatically for you, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Once it’s set up there are many ways you can use your lead generation system to account to interact with your website or talk directly with your customers and prospects. Here are a few of them. Keep in mind that all of these can be done on a recurring basis.

• Our basic email system set up service will get your account established with a leading email delivery firm and get your first campaign (or newsletter, or eCourse) correctly set up and it’s messages loaded.  Estimated cost: $200.
• We also offer a premium set up that includes the initial messages in your follow-up series. Estimated cost: $300-500.
• We can always step in and design and write a single email blast message or a  full eCourse. Estimated cost: $100-125.
• We’re also there if you just need to someone to make sure your monthly newsletter gets input into your custom designed template and delivered on time for you. Estimated cost: $25 per month.

Sales page/squeeze page set up

Capturing visitor email addresses for your ongoing list messages or as the first step in your sales process can be crucial to your success. The simplistic look of most of these pages hides the true work that goes into creating them. That work includes:

1. creating a list, a campaign and a web form within your autoresponder account
2. That form is then placed on a landing page (frequently called a “squeeze page” that very briefly outlines your offer.
3. Once a person fills in their contact information an intermediate “please confirm or double opt-in” email message is generated
4. Once they have confirmed their opt-in, your prospect is taken to your confirmation/download page.

Our basic sales page pricing includes each of those steps, but does not include writing any copy (or video creation, etc.) for those pages. You provide the content and we will make sure it all works seamlessly for you and your prospect. Of course, if you need me to help you with the writing as well, we can discuss that.
Sales/squeeze page creations typically cost $250.

Multimedia and miscellaneous services

We can also help you with your audio and video projects. Anything from helping you embed a podcast or video into your website, to writing the script and creating the video either inhouse or using outside specialists. Obviously these projects are too individualized to attach estimates here.
